Στο πλαίσιο ευρύτερων εκδηλώσεων που οργανώνει η πρεσβεία του Μεξικού για τον εορτασμό των 85 χρόνων από την εγκαθίδρυση των διπλωματικών σχέσεων ανάμεσα στο Μεξικό και την Ελλάδα, ο καθηγητής Ricardo Garcia-Arteaga, School of Philosophy and Literature, National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), θα δώσει διάλεξη στο Τμήμα Θεατρικών Σπουδών του Πανεπιστημίου Πατρών με θέμα:
«Χαρτογράφηση του μεξικάνικου θεάτρου στον 21ο αιώνα».
Η διάλεξη θα διεξαχθεί την Τετάρτη 13 Νοεμβρίου 2024, ώρα 19:30, στην Αίθουσα Κ11.
Στη διάλεξη θα παραβρεθούν ο πρέσβης του Μεξικού κ. Alejandro García Moreno και η ακόλουθος της πρεσβείας κυρία Laura Mora. Θα απευθύνουν χαιρετισμό οι κκ. Χρήστος Μπούρας, Πρύτανης του Πανεπιστημίου Πατρών και Γεώργιος Ξυδόπουλος, Κοσμήτορας της Σχολής Ανθρωπιστικών και Κοινωνικών Επιστημών.
Ricardo García Arteaga
Dr. Ricardo García Arteaga is a Fulltime Professor and Researcher at the School of Philosophy and Literature in the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM).
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Dramatic Literature and Theater in the UNAM and has completed a Master of Arts and a PhD in Comparative Literature.
He has participated in different Academic Positions: Secretary General of the Faculty of Philosophy and Letters, UNAM (2019-2020); Director of the National Center of Theatrical Research and Documentation (2013- 2014); National Institute of Fine Arts; Coordinator of the School of Dramatic Literature and Theatre at the Faculty of Philosophy and Letters, UNAM (2005-2009).
Professor Garcia-Arteaga has participated in seven research projects on Mexican Theater and Dance, and Latin American theater, has been a speaker at sixty national and international conferences and congresses, and has taught twenty courses at the National Autonomous University of Mexico and other national and international
universities. He has been the advisor for forty bachelor, master and doctoral theses, has published two books of his own and twenty-nine articles in national and international books and journals. As a stage director he has directed more than twenty educational and professional performances
